Several days of fire danger are forecast for Colorado this week, but chances of snow will return to the state — including the Denver area — by Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver weather forecast turns drier with more sunshine and continued warmth into Sunday. Winds will still be breezy through the rest of our weekend, gusting up to 25 mph at times Sunday afternoon. Higher gusts will be found across the Western Slope and high country.
Look for mostly cloudy skies Tuesday along the Front Range with highs in the low 70s. A few afternoon showers are possible, but we'll see a better chance Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Denver.
