You’ll only ever need it, if you knit stranded colourwork on two needles and have long floats on a purl row.But a few of you did ask for it, when I posted a video showing how to catch floats on the knit side.Personally, I usually knit with both yarns in the left hand, (you’ll notice how bad I am at throwing in this video 🫣😅) but I hope you’ll find it useful nonetheless…Stay tuned for a video showing how to catch the left-hand yarn (which is, admittedly, easier!

When I work two-color knitting, I hold one color in each hand. That means sometimes I’m trapping the yarn in my left hand, and sometimes the yarn in my right hand.
